Our Van Servicing Options

Interim Service

Ideal for: High-mileage drivers (every 6 months or 6,000 miles).

Keep your van performing smoothly between full services. We check fluid levels, perform an oil and filter change, and conduct a thorough visual brake and suspension inspection to ensure you are safe on the road.

Standard Service

Ideal for: Annual maintenance (every 12 months or 12,000 miles).

A comprehensive check of your entire vehicle. We change your oil, oil filter, and air filter, alongside a full, detailed vehicle safety check to ensure everything is running perfectly and keeping you safely on the road.

Digital Service Checklist Included with Every Service

Transparency is key. With every van service at Paisley Autocare, you will receive a comprehensive Digital Service Report sent straight to your phone or email. We use a simple Traffic Light System so you can see exactly how your van is performing at a glance:

Green: All clear. This component is in great condition and requires no action.

Amber: Advisory. The part is wearing but safe for now. We will advise when to check it again.

Red: Urgent. This component has failed or is unsafe and requires immediate repair or replacement.

Mechanic's Corner: Van Care Tips

Adjust Tyre Pressure for Heavy Loads

A fully loaded van handles very differently than an empty one. Always check your manufacturer's handbook for the correct laden tyre pressure. Running under-inflated tyres with a heavy payload drastically increases blowout risks and fuel consumption.

Don't Ignore the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter)

If you only use your van for short, stop-start city driving, your DPF can easily get clogged. Try to take your van on a dual carriageway or motorway for 20-30 minutes at least once a month to allow the exhaust to get hot enough to burn off the excess soot.

Listen to Your Brakes

Vans carry extra weight, meaning your brake pads work overtime. If you hear a grinding or squealing noise, or if the pedal feels "spongy," book it in immediately. Catching worn pads early saves you from replacing expensive brake discs.
